This page is dedicated to any recipe I can remember to document.  Most of what I do is not measured.  But I’ll try…


The first time I’m making chicken wings I searched pinterest but plain chicken wings were hard to find at least a healthier version.  My wings are still fried but the breading is different.

Sprinkle the defrosted wings with adobo and mix with hand

In a plastic ziplock put in 2 cups of flour, 1tsp baking powder, 1tsp baking soda, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic (for spice add desired amount of Cayenne pepper & smoked paprika)

dump chicken wings (4-5 at a time) into the ziplock and shake until coated

place on baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes at 400

Then Fry in oil (oil should be about 350) until desired color and texture are achieved.



CrockCrockpot Mac & Cheese

The pic below is the measurements and recipe I used HOWEVER I did NOT add the macaroni in until the end and I pre cooked it.  It said 2 1/2 hours on low… I’m impatient and cooked it for 1 1/2 on high.  I say you should cook it on low until everything is melted together.  I also added pepper, oldbay, and 1/2 tsp of mustard.. But all that is strictly optional.

Quinoa Roasted Garlic & tomatoes & spinach

I want to say I attempted the recipe in the link below but I’m way too lazy for that so what I did do well it’s quicker & easier

I cooked the quinoa per directions on the box (pretty much if you use 1 cup quinoa you use 2 cups water). I got a can of tomatoes (the one that has basil, garlic, & oregano) & I poored the juice in with the water.  I cut up about a tsp of scallions and threw that in as well.  When the liquid was absorbed I put it on a plate put a hand full of spinach, the tomatoes, sprinkled cheese and mixed it up… Surprisingly it was yummy.



Crockpot beef stew

You can use chunks, stew beef, top roast, bottom round… Whatever as long as it’s beef 2lbs

I add just enough water to line the bottom

1/2 tbsp adobo, 1/2 tbsp steak seasoning,1 tsp tumeric ( optional), 1tsp garlic powder or 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1 small onion, 1 cup potatoes, 1/2 cup carrots, 1/2 cup chopped celery

Add in all the contents cook 6-8 hours low… Add more water if needed ( doubt you’ll need it though) add more seasoning to desired taste mix & serve.

Buy dough, roll itout, I used roasted garlic pizza sauce and spooned it on and spread it thin.  I added raw toppings and cheese.

Placed in oven at 400 degrees until crust is cooked and toppings appeared cooked (20-40 min)



Cheese & Veggie stuffed chicken

You’ll nesd 2 chicken breasts, spinach, peppers 4 tbs of cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, desired seasoning, 1/8 cup if shredded cheese, 4 strips of bacon.

Slice the chicken breast and open it so it’s one flat piece, sprinkle both sides with onion powder and desired seasonings, layer the spinach, peppers and 2 tbsp of cream cheese, sprinkle the cream cheese with garlic powder and shredded cheese.  Proceed to roll up the breast and wrap in bacon.  Use as many strips as desired or needed.

Cook for 40 minutes in the oven at 350 or until chicken is cooked and then 10 minutes at 400 for color.

I also used the extra veggies & sane seasoning to make a side dish
